Lucy Lit Author Spotlight

Hello all!
I’m Lucy Lit, author of contemporary erotic romance and romantic suspense novels. I’m thrilled to be here and meet other romance lovers.
My Sultry Savannah Series has 2 books published with at least 7 more planned because other characters started talking about their specific story and why it deserves to be told. Y’all have no idea how hard it is to say “No” to sexy, deserving women or men with those yummy dimples in their butt cheeks. *Sigh* Now you know one of my weaknesses. Go on, it’s okay to admit you love them too. Currently, I’m working on #3 in the Savannah Series, tentatively titled Find Me on Forrester and I anticipate a release this spring.
Back to the introductions… my path to writing follows the rest of my life – atypical and out of order. I’ve always created stories but unlike many (most?) authors, I never wrote them down. Two years ago, a character named Cullan kept talking, progressed to shouting, and then she grabbed me by the shoulders. “You need to write down this story!” Oka-a-y then. 42 Rue de Jardin is the result. Writing it was painful yet cathartic because Cullan has a chronic disease that’s left physical and emotional scars. I have the same condition and relate to her inner torment. However, her relationship with Royce and how he introduces her to Tantra made for “interesting” research. *wink*
Since jumping into the writing community, I’m known for 3 things (so far):
My main characters are all aged 40-ish and above
My books incorporate Tantra and tantric sex (a lot!)
My hats (I always wear them at signings and conferences)
So if you’re looking for stories with fierce, independent females, less college age angst, or Agatha Christie-style mysteries (but with sex!), I invite you to check out my books. A complete listing of retail sites is available on my website along with lots of other goodies!

42 Rue de Jardin

First in the Sultry Savannah Series

The streets of Savannah have stories to tell…

One determined Alpha male. A woman whose faith in love is shattered. Tantric sex. Could be a disaster or maybe a path to healing.
What happens when your romance novel fantasies collide with your reality? Forty-something Cullan Davis almost has it all. Loving family, friends, successful business, community activist – and no sex life.
A chronic, disfiguring skin disease and past abuse left physical and emotional scars that prevent her from believing in relationship possibilities. Resigned to being alone, she compensates by living vicariously through the heroines in her beloved romance novels. When her real-life lust from afar notices her, panic sets in. She cannot possibly get involved. Her scars are too deep. No man wants a self-proclaimed freak, do they?
Royce Jacobson is a wealthy philanthropist, single parent of a twenty-year-old daughter and womanizing player. Practicing his own version of tantric sex, he subscribes to the love ’em and leave ’em satisfied mentality. He wants to add Cullan to his conquest list but discovers vulnerability in her, touching a part of him he didn’t know existed. She’s an enigma. And Royce excels at solving puzzles. He’s convinced Tantra can break through her reserves… if only she would cooperate.
Flawed self-perception, meet ancient sexual practices. BOOM.

What Others are Saying…

The sex scenes in this book are hot but what I loved was how sensual the writing of the sex scenes were. They are written so realistic that you can feel the light touch of the feather, the massage of his hands, and the heat of their kisses. You will need to cool off after reading them. Nerd Girl Official
I loved the main characters. They developed a steamy relationship amidst a lot of suspense. I look forward to reading more from Lucy Lit as she seems to cater to the over 40 crowd with her plot. I could really relate to the body issues of the heroine and the hero? Well, let’s just say I wanted to package him in a gift box with a big blue bow and send him to some of my single friends. 🙂 More delectable than chocolate. Julie
If you want a book that discusses love, sex and romance between people who are more mature, settled & less angst, check this book & author out! Twolf Mom

Named as one of the Top 50 Reads for 2015 on Crystal’s Many Reviewers!

He seeks atonement.

Stoney Carrington loves his life. Successful corporate attorney. Tantra practitioner. Defender of the underdog. Connoisseur of women. But his playboy facade masks the inescapable failure in his soul from one twenty-year-old mistake. Serious relationships are a reward and not for the undeserving. The penance doled out by his inner demon assures Stoney’s search for redemption will never end.

She seeks the truth.

McKenna Beaumont operates by the perceived strength of her female ancestors. Living up to the ideal is tough even on a good day. Her independence scares off most men but her precocious daughter and thriving business keep her grounded. When the inheritance of her beloved ancestral home is challenged, she refuses to be the first Beaumont to fail. Losing Belle Chene is not an option. Except, it is.
A warehouse renovation brings them together and they discover ancient sexual practices are addictive, family secrets can destroy, and love brings peace to a willing heart.
Warning – Contains graphic language, tantric sex, older characters, workplace romance, a paranormal empath, interactions with spiders, and a stuffed zebra named Mr. Peabody.
Belle Chene is a standalone novel although characters from 42 Rue de Jardin make appearances. For best enjoyment and to avoid spoilers, reading the series in order is recommended.

What Others are Saying…

The sexual tension between Mac and Stoney was well done without going overboard, and their relationship was mature without being boring. Incorporating tantra into the relationship gave the story another edge and set it apart from other books. I especially enjoyed how it was used outside of the sexual situations. Rach Lawrence Books

It has beautiful details, romance, tantra (woohoo), history and intrigue and you definitely can not go wrong with this book. Dione

Breathless, that is how I can explain the trip from point A to Z in this story. Grab your copy now, what are you waiting for? We have a great book that is hidden on the market and if you haven’t read about Stoney you are really missing out on something glorious. T London

The writing is so tight and perfect that I can’t believe this author isn’t on a bestseller list. Suspense, sex and well developed characters are what I look for in a good read, and boy did I get it here. Total page turner – and many twists and turns…you will LOVE this book! JenTheRiot

 About the Author

Lucy Lit, 42 Rue de Jardin, Sultry Savannah Series, erotic romance, contemporary romance, tantra, tantric sex

Lucy Lit came to fiction writing late in life after many years of corporate life and business ownership. A voracious bookworm, her mother claims Lucy read cereal boxes in her high chair. She irritated her father during family vacations by burying her nose in a book rather than viewing the scenery. Once she progressed from Nancy Drew to swiping her mother’s historical romances, there was no going back. She writes steamy stories about older characters because she believes romance, intimacy, and sex are timeless.
Lucy lives in South Carolina with her husband Garage Guy and an angst-ridden Puggle with separation anxieties. Her quirky lifestyle means she does not wear stilettos in her spare time, but she does wear them when she writes.
She loves hearing from fans. Connect with her here.
