Kaise: A White Card Story
By: Jade Belfry
Will this cold attorney allow the flames of passion to melt her heart of stone? Kaise didn’t want love and certainly didn’t have time for sex. That is, until she loses a major case and her trusted assistant all on the same day. Feeling sorry for herself and fortified by drink, she dials a secret number given to her by a friend. Things heat up when the call connects and she reaches an ultra-exclusive team of sexual trainers that are about to show her everything she never knew that she’s been missing. Including perhaps the old flame she’s never forgotten.
This story features temperature play in a BDSM setting.

A White Card Story BY JADE BELFRY
“I have trained a long time to be comfortable with fire. I hated it for a long time, but have to feel that it’s a part of me.” He was stone faced as he spoke, and Kaise wondered why he decided to share this part of his past with her. Was it just nervous jitters?
“Is there anything else I should know before we began?”
“Just that I’ve been away from the lifestyle for a very long time Sir.”
“Thank you for telling me. What are our goals for this evening?”
“To feel like a Sub again, Sir.” Kaise looked away embarrassed. “I’ve missed it.”
He stepped forward and put a hand to her chin and lifted it up. “Will you let me have control for the evening?”
“Yes Sir. I will. I trust you.” She spoke quickly and firmly. This was her purpose for tonight, for calling the number on that white card. It had seemed like so long ago, when in reality not much time at all had passed between when she was safe alone in her office and now… She took a deep breath.
Easier said than done.
She hadn’t allowed herself to have much of a sex life or even a sensual life. It wasn’t part of her priorities. In fact, it was something she went out of her way to avoid. Getting even remotely close to someone she was attracted to always left her with the temptation to return to BDSM. So she wasn’t willing to take a chance. She wasn’t sure if tonight would lead to sex, probably not, but at least this experience had her thinking again, feeling like a woman again.
“Trust is earned, it’s not something to be given so freely Sub. What is your safe word?” His words snapped her out of her head and brought her back to the present. “If we are to experiment, even a little, you need one.”
“Green, yellow, red?”
“Yes, we can try those, but let’s pick something more personal. Something that lets me know that you will go no further. Remember a safe word is used to protect both parties.
Kaise said the first word that popped into her head. “Flames.” It was silly to have picked it as her safe word, but there was no taking it back now. She heard her Dom sigh and she couldn’t tell if she had pleased him or if she frustrated him. He was frustratingly hard to read.
“Very well. Sub, do you remember how a scene starts?”
“Yes, Sir.” Kaise walked back into the middle of the room and, as ordered, got to her knees and slipped quickly and easily into slave position. It was a formal, high protocol move. Here a Sub knelt with her knees apart and her palms face up on her thighs awaiting her Dom’s next commands. This is how she showed him that she was ready to begin and that she respected his dominance over her.
Of course if she was presenting for Gregory he likely would have commanded her eyes down and her knees further apart. He loved to critique her form to let her now that he was watching her and really seeing her. He never took her submission lightly. But she was never going to be his Sub to order. Gregory was gone, gone forever, never to be her Dom again.
The trainer looked down at her now, watching her. And for a moment she thought that she caught of glimpse of something. Just a shadow of an expression that reminded her of Gregory.
Kaise blinked back tears. She wished it was him that was toping her tonight and not some random Dom that Naomi and the white card group had picked for her.
“Are you alright, Sub?”
Wow, her mind was really playing tricks on her. Now the Dom even sounded like Gregory. Quickly Kaise pulled herself together. “Yes Sir, I just had a moment, please continue.”
“Sub if you want to stop at any time, I need to know that you will tell me in words if you’re able or that you will use your safe word. Do you understand what I’m asking?”
Why I wanted to do this anthology?
I previously worked with Lori King on her Monthly Picture Capture Events. For these events Lori picked one image, and she and a group of authors then each wrote the story that they ‘saw’ in the picture. The results are posted on Lori’s blog. I enjoyed having the opportunity to work with Lori and I loved the freedom of creating a new short piece every month. Unfortunately I had to take a step back due to some personal obligations and I really missed being part of that team.
When I saw that many of the authors were working together to create this fun new anthology I jumped at the opportunity to join them! And I’m so glad I did. It’s been an amazing experience. I’ve learned so much from working with the group – plus I got the advanced scoop on nine other Dirty Doms that I think readers will fall in love with as much as I did!
With my story (and my Dom) I had the opportunity to create a new series. Included in the Dirty Doms box set is Kaise, a White Card story. Kaise is a lawyer who’s a little down on her luck. Things start looking up when a friend hands her a mysterious white business card with only a phone number printed on it. She, like the other heroines in this series, will be given the choice to either call the number or always wonder what might have been…
